Neiman Marcus Edition
I've never seen one of these in person, what do you guys think of it? I like the silver around the windshield, my IOM would look more like the 2007 concept if I did this. I think I'm going to take a ride and look at it...

Although I've also never seen one in person, from the pics I have seen when they first came out, I really liked it and still do. The plum colored body and saddle interior really complement each other quite well. $38k is a bit much, IMO, but they did run $75k new, IIRC. Regardless, you'd need to check any and all records for any top repairs and thoroughly inspect - including the battery well in the trunk - for any potential signs of water - present or past.

So I went and looked at it, it's in good shape, except for the rub marks on the top. The sales guy said he could get a top replaced if I wanted the car. He was super high pressure, which I don't like.
I looked the car over pretty good and there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary. I was surprised to see the engine cover wasn't color matched and that the inside of the engine bay was black and not color matched. Is a sharp liking color and is definitely different looking from the other camaro. It seemed more luxury than aggressive muscle car. Even my wife said it looks more like a luxe convertible than a camaro. It probably had to do with the rich purple and silver color along with the tab interior. It was nice, but not for me, and definitely not at their asking price. Sent from my SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 EDGE using Tapatalk Pro |

High pressure? I'd run. Far. Fast. They'll be lucky to sell it with rub marks.

I have seen one in person. The owner was convinced that he had a $75,000 car. Besides the nice paint job and the interesting interior color it was just a Camaro. I did not like the wheels. IMHO the car above seems fairly priced. After all, it is a limited edition.

I have a 2012 1SS Vert in Crystal Red. They only made 370 1SS verts that year and with the color it is about a 1 of 4 made. Does that mean it's worth a fortune? Hells no. And good luck replacing the top on this one. How would you even get the same color?

The owner that I spoke to bought a spare top and put it away.

My question is that it says it is an automatic, yet it says it is an LS3. Did Neiman Marcus take the L99 and do the LS3 conversion? Did they swap LS3's into the car, or did they make a special deal with Chey and ordered them that way?
I know it is only my opinion, but IMHO those seat a butt fricking ugly! |

A good friend of mine has one. If any 5th Gen is ever going to have a serious collector status it will be the Neiman Marcus. They only built 75 and only 67 or 68 are still out there.
