You mean only 3 that didn't catch fire.....
We had more than 3 Fiero fires here in town.....we used to give my high school buddy a bunch of crap because he bought one and we all told him it would spontaneously go up in flames any day now....lol. |

Shank! Is that the same car as in your OP from over two years ago? If so, then BRAVO, young man! Very nice! Glad you didn't let the naysayers "put out the fire" (yes, pun intended)... You've got yourself a very nice car there, and now that Fiero has had 23+ birthdays since the last one rolled of the production line, you have a unique head turner. When they FIRST came out, I remember a lot of people doing double takes, and wondering if that was a Ferrari... and the name did not stop many from thinking that it really was!

Free? I can't believe they didn't pay you to take it. Good luck!

Pretty much the second I move out of my parents house I'm getting one as a project car. I've wanted one forever. EXTREMELY RARE! I've seen 2 on the road in 7 years of driving and I'm always on the lookout for one, and I live in NY...
I'm envious, keep her in good condition like you are. I want to do the SC3.8 swap with a built transmission. An awesome weekend/race car for sure. |

What did you decide on instead? Or are you just using it as a daily with the stock engine?

I'll do my best to keep it in good shape. One of these days I want to clay bar and wax it. Good luck! They are cool looking and certainly have potential to be extremely fast. Just upgrade the brakes! |

If you wanna have fun, do the El Dorado/Toronado transaxle swap like they used to do with Corvairs. Readily available in most any wrecking yard for cheap:
This is old school hot-rodding if you don't get carried away and make a show car:
