WOAH if you take ur camaro to the beach it will look gross, my 89 after being stuffed with boards and sand for years the paint was gross and faded, dont ya got another car to take? I agree the key will be annoying surfing, now I keep a otterbox, under a towel on the beach. While im out, I also generally leave like munchies and stuff so much crap that no one would bother going through it.

I'm interested in this to, as I dive. I can't trust a magnetic container as I can't glance over to notice someone looking hard for it. I can't bring myself to trust a glorified baggie either. And the fact that it's sealed against the rain doesn't cut it at 30ft below the waves.

woot, i took my fob to the beach last year and forgot they were in my pocket. I ended up in the water 2 times each time for a good while.. fully submerged etc and the fob was perfectly okay. the fob i have also has flimsy rubber push buttons that look like they could leak. the current fob looks MUCH sturdier

I'd like a valet key that didn't allow speeds in excess of 5mph and not let it rev passed 3000 or something. Sometimes the only place left to park is valet. :(

You've seen Ferris Beuller, right ? It happens ......

They used to time each other to see who could get the best time going from a starting point to the third level of their garage.... nice, a timed race with the customers cars, and of course, the better the car the harder they pushed it !
oh yeah!

Regarding the switchblade key fob... has anyone ever owned one like this? I'm worried that the button may be too easy to press, and it'll open up in my pocket all the time...

I have friends who have them and theirs require just enough pressure that you won't accidentally open it.

Yeah he did. OK UCF_w00t, I read your post I get it, your heading would have been better suited as "Surfer Key?".
