Piss poor window design

Anyone else tired of water pouring in your window when you open it a little after its been raining? I love my Camaro but this window design is piss poor. I'm afraid the window switches are going to short out because the water runs right into them.

The weather strip at the top doesn't channel the water at all. This is a daily driver and I'm in Washington state so I can't drive it JUST on sunny days. Chevy needs to come up with a fix for this. Its not just a couple of drips, water POURS in.

I posted this on Chevy's facebook and I will continue to post it every day until Chevy contacts me. The dealership will be getting frequent vists too!

I know, probably sounds like a bunch of boo hoo hoo.....but come on Chevy, really?

Are you talking about the water dropping in from the roof?

Ahh...I did notice this. It is the same on my F-150. So I just assumed it it is like this in every vehicle. So I guess Ford and Chevy can't master it...maybe dodge?

So..the problem is,after it rains you open your window and moisture comes in...I say you have a good lemon law case.

And, you can watch and there is no water dripping down the window UNTIL you lower it a little and then it pours in.

With the road testing and weather testing, it's surprising this flaw wasn't noticed. Or, maybe it was.

Don't think I'd ever take it in to the dealer, though. I don't send back steaks, either.

Back in the day all cars had rain gutters.
Style, aerodynamics, mpg and wind noise made them go away.
Just consider the camaro deguttered.

water collects between the roof gutter and the window. when you crack yor window the water runs down that part of the roof and drains in thru the window opening

I seem to be having an annoying problem as well.
When ever it rains I put down my window because I don't mind the few sprinkles, but for some reason the weather strip or some other component gathers a bunch of water and it get thrown straight in my car with some pressure

Add the oil leaks to your list, cuz if you don't have one now, apparently our cars leak like sieves.

no, it won't short anything out, but it will shorten the life of the switch and it will proably need replaced in 7 or 8 years.

the problem is that the door doesn't' have a top to it, and whenever you open the door the window comes down an inch. I'm guessing that's what the OP is complain about.
