Ceramic Brake Switch

How About Some Feed-Back From Those Of You That Have Switched Pads To Help With The Brake Dust - Any Rotor Problems? Did It Really Help?

A lot of people have went to the hawk ceramics for lowering amount of dust, the only issue is that you will lose braking performance if you track the car. One option is changing them out when you go to the track. Several people I know have the ceramic and they said it significantly lowered the amount of brake dust. I believe there are several threads on this subject.

Pretty much summed it up. The ceramic pads will still stop great, I just would not recommend any repetitive hard braking with them. They are a great choice if your car never see's the track, or like Sven said, swap them out when you do.

We have a pretty good deal going on the Hawk Ceramics right now. Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Agree with rest. Takes me longer to get car up on the lift than it does to change the pads.

What about performance... any difference there?

Edit: Never mind... I read the thread. Not switching just for dust.
