I had a close friend have his entire engine replaced under warranty in 2012. They could not see his Trifecta tune. Perhaps something has changed over the past couple years, but it worked out for him. I have heard the same story many times before, so his case confirmed it for me. However if something has changed, I stand corrected.

Best regards,

Tyler

It probably comes down to the dealership. Whether or not they check the car with Tech 2. Whether or not they really want to fight over it. They would have to prove the tune caused the problem. Either way it's best to consider your warranty voided when you do the tune.

you are right about the dealership some look for things and some dont. the issue i have is to say that cant see it is just wrong. if i was a vendor and i was selling something i would want to be 100 percent sure. what happens when some one buys the tune bings there car to the dealership to get something fix and the dealership says we see you have a tune and says you are out of luck. then what happens is the vendor going to pay to get my car fix. no what does he care.
