Centerforce twin disc, best clutch out there, will hold 1200 ft lbs of torq. pedal pressure is 3 lbs less than the stock one. i have over 12k on mine.

I went with the ACT twin disc. Love it. Feel pretty much stock but it actually holds. My stock one was slipping at my power level.

What is the LPE ZR1 clutch good for as far as horsepower and torque?

I have the Katech version of the LS9 clutch (alum flywheel instead of heavy steel) in my 582 rwhp Z06 that we race every weekend. I've been running it for 1 1/2 years without issues. I consistantly rip off 1.5 and 1.6 short times on drag radials all night long. it has a stock pedal feel, no chatter and has been able to hold all that I've thrown at it.

We put the the Katech LS9Xclutch/Aluminum flywheel in our Ring Spec Camaro build, and echo your comments. Super quiet, always holds power, no issues, easy pedal tarvel, and an overall great upgrade for the Camaro. Just our $.02

I have read that on the aluminium flywheel it has to be heated for the initial clearance to be set up.. is this what you have found on yours

Not sure about HP but they list 960+ ft-lbs torque capacity.

You just stick it in the oven for a few minutes when the wife isn't home. It expands the aluminum a bit and lets it go in place properly.

Get a LS9 setup from Richie. Great clutch.

Just throw it in the over at 200F for 30 minutes.
