Noises from tranny, engine bay, dashboard

I had a sound coming from my center dashboard that sounded like a flute or someone blowing across a glass bottle. It started out very sporadic 2 weeks after I bought the car 2014 SS ILE, but then got more frequent to the point of being unbearable.
Only did it after car was driven and warmed up and only in Neutral at idle.
Dealership diagnosed this and other NOISE issues this week.
It was the AC compressor...BAD from the factory and not only making the flute noise (relief valve), but other subtle "mechanical noises" I had passed off as the typical american standard transmission.
Nope...faulty compressor straight from Mexico to the factory to my car.
So....if you have any strange noises march down to your dealership and have them check the AC compressor.

LOL! VERY TRUE!
Those Chinese parts are made from leftover nuclear power plant waste.
