Remote Starter won't work
I have a 2010 Camaro 2lt with Rs package and last night I used the remote start and it started fine and then about twenty seconds later it turned off and the check engine light came on. Now the remote start wont work at all. I dont know if maybe there is something i can do to fix it or what. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know why your ck eng light came on but I do know that anytime you have ck eng light on the remote start will not work until it is off.

Ok. That makes sense. I used the onstar diagonstics and they said it had to do with the powertrain. That was pretty vague but I guess im gonna have to get it checked out.

Mine turned it self off the other morning after only a minute of two and I had a check engine light... I pulled the code and it was coolant temp too high (or something like that... don't remember exactly what it was but it was temp related). When I manually restarted the car ALL the temps were fine... I cleared the check engine light and it's been fine since... so... just a one time glitch... i hope...
