Livernois Motorsports Cammed Blown L99 Dyno Sheets

Shooter1 had originally sent his brand new CGM 2010 L99 Camaro to us last month for the following mods:

Magnacharger MP2300 Supercharger Kit
3.6" Pulley
Kenne Bell BAP
Kooks 1 7/8" Longtube Headers
Kooks Catted Connection Pipe
GMPP Catback
Rotofab Cold Air Intake
Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune

It was baselined with shorty headers, GMPP catback, CAI, and Diablo tune and made 359 RWHP / 375 RWTQ. After the modifications above, it made 519 RWHP / 516 RWTQ.

We've since added:
Livernois Motorsports DOD/VCT Delete Kit w/ stage 1C camshaft
3.3" pulley
Ported the lower manifold and exhaust side of the cylinder heads
Fuel system upgrades

Adding the cam caused the car to loose boost, and the 3.3" pulley ended up making 9 lbs.

He also upgraded the axles and some suspension items.

With these modifications, it made 589 RWHP / 533 RWTQ.

Regards,

Rick LeBlanc

Hey Shooter1,
You have to give us some track times with that beast.
I just ordered almost identical items for my car with Andy @Livernois.
This ought to be good!

Real similar to what I'm considering for the wife's camaro. Does the cam allow it to get along nice on the street? She wants "0" drivability issues. I want the car to haul ass. We need to meet somewhere in the middle. Actually, whereever we meet needs to produce a car with no issues. Does this one drive like a stocker except for that nasty propensity to burn rubber? She's OK with big power as long as it plays nice. Happy wife = happy life.

The drivability on this camshaft is fantastic. There is almost zero lope to it at Idle, and it really takes a trained ear to pick it up in person. The camera amplifies it a little bit making it seem artificially lopey. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car every day

Driveability

1meanSS; great news. We'll have to get together with them in Spring.

Old motorhead; it is very driveable. It is almost stock feeling just
putting around. I would strongly suggest 305 good rubber on the
rear. The idle sounds really good an consistent but not a deep
lope. I really like it. You can quickly tap and let off gas at a stop
and spin the 305's like it's nothing if you want to play or
say; show a stock GT it's not a good car to try to run as they
rev their 4.6 to redline

If mama is a good consistent driver; I see no issues at all. If she
drives good in rain, etc.

Andy (Livernois) + this package = you're permagrin.

I am planning a SC on my L99. I noticed the axles were replaced. Anything done with the transmission? I would think the tranny would be the weak link, not the axles??

The 6l80e can handle ALOT of abuse. I would be worried about the axles before that trans as long as it has been properly tuned. A bad trans mission tune can easily take it from the strong trans it is to a weak link.

But, don't worry, a Rossler built 6L80e is in the future plans when needed
