haha yeah I think GM will have inside competition goin on with those if the trans am makes it, i've heard it wont but i've read that GM is considering releasing it along side the camaro in 2010

My 68 was called the beast, even my friends called it that. I think the "5th gen" or the "new camaro" will be also be known as "The Beast"

Well you got the message and that's all that really matters, to me at least. Aside from that it appears you miss-read the context of what I said earlier; No kidding, "5th gen" is the popular and probably most used reference outside of Camaro for describing the new car. "That's what it is" was not a confirmation but a decisive statement in saying that's probably what we'll end up referring to the new Camaro as outside of "Camaro" for the future.

Yeah, mine will be a Z/28 so I'll probably just end up calling it "The Z". People can take that as a reference to the platform or to the build. The only problem with that is that a lot of people reference the Nissan Z series as "The Z" as well, and I do not want people confusing my Camaro with a Nissan Z.
