CLOSING THREADS

Is it my imagination that Tran keeps closing threads when he feels he has the last word, also notice the times after 9am est. If thats not a day job what is.
Tran if you truly are not part of the gm family then why are you closing threads after you get the last word. Friends this is a GM website like it or not, just read between the lines. It doesn't take a marketing degree to see that. It does help to keep this site up.

Well, the information is already out, closing the thread only makes people angry and even more curious about the issue than before.. This site may or may not be affiliated with GM but one thing is for certain, GM certainly can tell this site what it wants to allow on the forums and what it wants it to not allow.. If GM has no stakes in this site, then the only thing they can do is say they won't have Scott or any GM employee post on here anymore as a punishment for not listening to their orders. I know this site wants to continue getting support from GM and will always side with them instead of its own members.. The good part is we still get Scott every once in awhile giving us inside info here and there.. The bad is we won't really get much inside info on this site that is truly inside info, only what they want us to hear..

Like I said earlier, that was information we should all be able to get from our dealer. I guess GM rather have all of us from the DealerInfo thread bugging our dealers every week rather than one central person helping everyone out. I don't know about you, but seeing how excited everyone was to see their order in the system really took my mind off other issues (ABL, CGM, etc). I also saw a lot of people who signed up just for that thread.

There are going to be a lot of disappointed people today. :(

This is not a GM owned site. Tran owns it. He can do as he pleases since he pays the bills.

I do have the last word because I provided an explanation for why Dealerinfo's thread was removed, and that's THE final word on it. There's no need to keep those threads open because there's no more speculation to be done by the members. Trust me when I say I'm as unhappy about that info having to be removed as anyone else here, but there's no reason to keep open a thread where folks would simply keep piling on to add to the frustration we all share. It's not like it would reverse the deletion of that thread. Let's please keep some perspective, it's not the end of the world, you can get that order status info directly from your dealer.

As for your conspiracy theory, I kindly ask you to stop with baseless accusations. If I truly was a part of the GM family would that info not have been removed immediately when it was posted yesterday, rather than after a full day of being out in the public, and after multiple pages of replies and more info being given out? Don't think so.
