In Philadelphia from Dallas. Where to go?
I'm trying to check out more of the city this time. I've been here at least 5 times and never once taken a look around. Where do I go?

Here are some suggestions:
Independence Hall Olde City: 2nd street to 4th street between Vine Street and Walnut Street. 2nd street between Pine and Bainbridge, and surrounding area. Northern Liberties: North Second Street (North from Spring Garden St until Girard). The Piazza at Schmidts, a shopping/apartment complex, is particularly noteworthy. Walnut Street from 13th all the way to 22nd (shopping, eating) Art Museum Area, including Fairmont Park FDR Park at Broad and Pattison, including the world famous FDR Skatepark (make sure you have tetanus shots). Sketch Burger on the 400 block of East Girard Ave is a must visit

Are you here for business or pleasure? There are many great neighborhoods in this great city. Are you into beer or food, then I could recommend some great places to eat or drink. Depends what type of food or drinks you are into. Or you could do the other route and see some attractions. This site could give you some ideas: http://philadelphia.foobooz.com/tag/anthony-bourdain/ , http://www.uwishunu.com/ , http://www.phillybeerweek.org/ , http://www.phillybeerscene.com/ . Do you have your Camaro with you?

Not to mention the sheer number of cheesesteak places that aren't Pats or Geno's

Also the Phils are in town. A game at Citizens Bank Park are fun. Also the Eagles play the patriots Friday at the Linc. If you're still there you can probably get a ticket for 10-20 bucks since its pre-season

I completely forgot about the Union. MLS games are a lot of fun (I was at the first Union/Dynamo game in Houston...I was the only Philly fan there...didn't go over too well when we won in extra time and I was singing the Sons of Bens song on the way out by myself.)

Could go see some beautiful college campuses. UPenn obviously, but if you want to get out of Philly for the day, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Villanova, and Swarthmore are all great spots to hit!
