Camaro wi-fi hotspot??

I am a bit technologically impaired.
Is there a way to turn my car into a hot spot, or should I just have my iphone turned into one?

Yeah there's several ways you can.
One of my buddy's had his iPad enabled for hotspot.
There's also something you pay monthly and it give you so many feet of hot spot

Will jailbreaking delete my purchased apps?
Will Itunes still work?

Why do you want to share your data? Unless you have unlimited data I can see that.

I use a verizon jetpack, I wired a always hot cig lighter in the trunk near the battery, put in on of those cig lighter to USB 5volt adapters and have it always plugged in and on..

with the share everything plan from verizon it costs me $10 a month, and I always have internet for my laptop or ipad (non 3g ipad) where ever I go.. good for about 150' feet from the car, and secure, no one gets on it without my passcode.

I was a Genius at Apple from 2009-2012. (Back when tech support was of a much higher quality) Just FYI if you jailbreak your phone, and it screws up the software, it is not covered under any sort of warranty. Be careful. Now I use an app that was 1.99 called Disco Recorder. Unknown if it's still in the store, but if so, it enables the wifi hotspot without jailbreaking your phone.

Good luck either way.

*EDIT* not to say that they won't help you, but there are guidelines they have to follow which may impact service. Be kind and nice, and they will bend over backwards to help.
