What is the remote vehicle starter system?
What is the remote vehicle starter system? I know that in some Mercedes if you have your key in the car then all you need to do is press a button and that car starts, is this anything like that. What are the steps needed to take to turn on the car: i.e. insert key and turn or sit in car with key and press button.

No that is called Keyless Go
Remote start is exactly that, Remote. If you have an Auto witht he Conectivity pack you can use the keyfob to start the car from as far away as you could unlock the door. |

no...remote vehicle start is something you can do "remotely"...kind of...
You key fob will have an extra button that will allow you to start the vehicle form 200 feet away and in turn cool down (or warm up depending on where you live) the interior before getting in the car. It's integrated with your alarm and only starts the engine and the ac. Nothing else works until you get inside and turn the key in the ignition. It's really a great feature.
