vibration from lowering cradle
I upgraded my fuel pump to the ZL1 pump which required drive shaft removal and lowering the rear cradle. Now I have a significant vibration at about 50mph and above. the vibration does not change with pushing in the clutch. Is there an alignment step for replacing the rear cradle?

No, there should be no alignment required after lowering the cradle. Did you mark the driveshaft yokes prior to taking it out and put it back in the same exact position? I'm not saying that is the problem, but it could have something to do with it. The rubber "guibo" isolators are supposed to absorb driveshaft vibration, but it might be worth a shot trying to re-clock the driveshaft to one of the other of the three positions.

but pushing in the clutch dosent change the vibration. shouldn't the drive shaft slow down and decrease vibration if that was it.

Yeah, you would think so, but I've seen these cars do stranger things!!! Just saying it might be worth a shot. There isn't a whole lot of play in the movement of the rear cradle since it has those alignment pins.

No. Depressing the clutch only relieves the driving force from the shaft. Drive shaft spins if the rear axles are spinning. The faster the rear wheels, the faster the drive shaft goes. It honestly sounds like the driveshaft was not attached properly.

Agreed. Driveshaft is first thing to check, then anything else that rotates that you took loose like wheels.
