but i would rather live in Texas. i like everything about Texas. specially there economic views. i honestly could see my self living there sometime. we do have some places that are nice, and with car cool automotive traditions. but Texas is where its at if you ask me. i dont think Detroit is really all that cool nor a nice place to live. talking about the past is a different story.

Texas is a great place for so many reasons not the least of which you can drive a performance car about 10 1/2 months out of the year. I feel like I stepped into a time warp. We went to the Christmas parade in our town. They had a choir on the city hall steps singing traditional Christmas carols. I'll be in Detroit for the Auto Show so I'll get my fix

Well my planned photo shoot fell thru. The clouds rolled in. I am going to try again next week if the weather holds out for one more week here. As long as the sun is out and the snow and salt says away.

Thanks Derrick, Nice photos, those are two of my stops on my list for my photo shoot. I see it might be sunny and nice on the 24th or 25th. Might be heading downtown if the weather is indeed nice.

Cruise on Christmas Eve in Michigan?

Who would have thought it was even a chance.

Great photos! I grew up in downriver (Southgate) and miss a lot of things Detroit has to offer. Many memories of Tiger Stadium, Hockey games, riding the people mover to Greek town. Driving around the train station. That would be a cool pic btw. oh well, enjoying living in the middle of nowhere in -30 to -40 degree weather, has it's advantages...the damn near 24 hours of daylight in the summer to drive in. I'd like to be an long distance member, where do I sign up? lol.
