BlazinJake's New Project

So I've been through several different car scenes, I began spending money and alot of time on my first build, a 98 Chevy Blazer, that I did extensive engine repairs to and bought and installed Air Ride suspension among several other upgrades...

I then sold the Blazer and bought a F-150 4x4 that I installed a Ranch Hand, Tonneau cover, lifted it 2 inches and put on 33 inch Nitto Trail Grapplers and a custom install for competition audio system...

Now as of Tuesday afternoon, I am the proud owner of a 2011 Camaro V6... I've got good plans for it, first will be working on a few cosmetic things just to put my own personal touch on it...

These pictures are exactly what it looked like when we purchased the Camaro.

I've already began doing some modifications but it was too dark to take any decent pictures after I was done but should be able to post some up tomorrow, nothing special, just plastidipped the rear light bezels, and Camaro lettering on each side flat black...

Update

I realize it's nothing major but I did get the Camaro lettering and the rear light bezels dipped flat black... I think they came out good and look much better imo...

This is only the beginning... i'm sure there will be many upgrades to come, just not sure exactly what all I'm wanting to do with it...

Thanks! I must say, it wasn't my favorite to begin with but once I drove it and looked at it more I've grown to like it more and more. I thought I'd like a blue or black paint better but you don't see many maroon camaros in this area.

So I had an issue with the dealership regarding the tires that were on this car when I purchased it... Finally after several days of let downs I was able to get the NEW tires put on this morning.

However, these idiots managed to damage my damn wheels! I was beyond pissed...Granted some of it is just grease from other tires and was able to get it to wash off BUT there is also a good bit of permanent damage... here's the pictures of the damage...

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

I'm probably going to be laying low a bit for awhile now, I'm going to be working pretty hard to get the car paid on a great deal, you know save the interest in the long run then spend some money saved on engine and etc...

I also don't want to get the exterior to be too cluttered... nothing against the cars with alot going on it's just not my style, I enjoy the clean builds.

My new project, thanks to Junkman2008, will probably be working on getting my paint to optimum condition. Then a fairly comprehensive list of upgrades after I'm satisfied the car's been paid on enough or as I have extra laying around...

My list of future mods is-
-high flow cats
-high flow high performance mufflers (probably Solo)
-CAI
-RS headlamps (or eagle eyes)
- led lights inside and out all the way around
-splitter of some kind- obviously matte black
-paint brake calipers to match the red jewel tintcoat of camaro

Atleast that should get me started when the time comes to get to work!

Well, looks like cash and time are going to be an issue for awhile... As I can, I'm planning to retrofit the headlights with the morimoto mini Bi-Xenon kit and match the fog lights with 5000k hids. Also am looking at the Solo Performance Cat-back setup and high flow cats with some sort of long tube headers... and in between will be gathering products and equipment to remove all swirl marks and scratches... Stay tuned, it may be awhile but worth it in the end I'm sure...

Nice Thread.

I do have to say that the RJT is one sexy color.

Thanks Jewel25, I know it's nothing impressive now but hopefully over time I can get it to where I would like it to be... I've never been one that can drop thousands on upgrades... I've got to do ussually one thing at the time and space them out a bit...

I too have grown quite partial to the RJT color... I'm planning to dress up a few interior pieces with RJT just to tie them in together a bit more...

BTW... look for pictures, hopefully tomorrow night.. I upgraded the tag lights, dome light, and trunk light... very impressed with the product, it's quality and the customer service and attention to detail I experienced with diode dynamics!
