How about making a social group instead of a thread. We can post our progress on there, and anyone who wants to join us can just go there.

know what's funny? people always say you get fat when you're staying in the US for a long time. i've been here for quite a while now and actually LOST a little weight. well i was visiting my folks in germany over christmas/new year and gained seven pounds in ten days

haven't been to the gym in two weeks because I just moved to another state and I'm having all kinds of trouble right now... for me it's not so much about "losing weight" it's more about turning fat into muscle...

current weight: about 182 lbs @ 6.02"

how old are you? I had been 210lbs from age 14 to 22. that may seem like alot, but I've always had a very muscular build. When I turned 22 my metabolism really started slowing down, that on top of my current physical disabilities is a big reason Im at the weight I am now. Granted I dont look "fat" it dosen't do good on my injured spine/legs any good.

This is funny. My work has a "biggest loser" contest every year and ours starts this week (I weigh in on Wednesday). We get randomly teamed and there is a $1 per pound award, plus bonuses to winning team and winning factory (here and up near Boston). It's pretty cool that I can also track my progress here!!

I also liked the idea of the social group someone brought up, if you make one send me an invite.

I'll post my numbers tomorrow after my official weigh-in, but my goal is 200 lbs (I think I'm around 245).

Goal: 200
Current: 240.0, 235.8

You guys think you have it bad? I've been stuck at 120-125 for three years - 6000 calorie diet, hardcore gym workouts, everything.

So... I guess I'll join in.

As of today:

Current weight 123
Goal weight 145.

Almost 200 grams of protein in my daily diet, and 300 grams of carbs. Trust me, unless you're a doctor, there's basically no research you could have done that I haven't. Like I said - Its been a daily thing for three years. I've seen many nutritionists as well.

But I'm not giving up yet.
