RPM Motorsports 2010 Kenne Bell 2.8L
We just pulled this one off the dyno this morning. We were suprised at the amout of power that it picked up under the curve. The car was still making right at 9-10#'s of boost after the header install.

Is the first graph -- showing 486 horsepower and 449 lb-ft -- of the same KB-equipped car, pre-header installation? If so, then, yeah, that's a pretty hefty increase with just the addition of long tubes!

Yep the first graph was bone stock with just the KB the second is with headers and cutouts closed. The cutouts did not make any diff. in power over the stock catback. Its the same car on both pulls.

Jason,
Nice build! I really appreceate that you let us know there was no power increase w/ the cutouts open. I was on the fence on these, I knew on NA cars people really weren`t seeing any increase w/ the cutouts, but I was unsure if blown it might pick up some power w/ cutouts. So you just saved me a bunch of cash. Thanks!!! Your build put down pretty similar results to mine I have a L99, Whipple, stock pulley at 6400rpm was at 9.1 psi (I actually have shift points at 6200rpm w/ the stock L99 lifters). The only diff is my headers are AR but same size, I have cats, and I have a CAI and put down 536rwhp. You can`t go wrong w/ these twin screws!!!

I do think the Whipple was a better kit. It def. makes more power and has lower IAT's than the KB.
