I also originally bought a used 2LT V6. I took my lumps and traded it for a 1SS after about a month. It ended up costing me about two grand. Much cheaper than what the conversion would cost. Just my two cents.

+1... aside from the fact Fbodfather said the front subframe is different on the V6 to V8 car, so it ain't happening.

when i get a little more money, im swapping my v6 with a LS7 engine brand new!! then i'll do tune ups!! only reason i wanted a v6 because even if i got the v8 i was going to swap the engine with better one with more power.. =)
