taking apart and cleaning a maggie

I recently bought a used supercharger and I wanted to clean the inside just to make sure when i put it on im not forcing dirt and stuff into my engine. anybody have any tips/how to guides? also what should i use, just water or some sort of solution

What he said Just sold an EForce off a blown engine and it is at Edelbrock being torn down,inspected, seals replaced etc. Believe they are charging him about $500 for peace of mind and don't want to spend his money here if it ends up damaged and unrepairable.

I had my maggie torn apart and cleaned twice now. I'll get you some pictures as soon as get hold of my computer. First time around was to clean it off a )"&/$-load of oil that came in through an ineffective PCV system, second time around was to install a phenolic spacer.

Both times the blower/intake/TB was clean as a whistle afterwards, plus all gaskets especially around the intercooler have been renewed.
