Rohana rim issues
I have been experiencing some issues with my Rohana RC-20 rims.
Forgive me as I do not know the technical term for the issue I am experiencing. To me, it appears the rim is flaking. The finish is coming off. I only clean these rims with Adam's wheel cleaning products. Nothing else has touched these rims. I pride myself in talking care of my car. Especially my rims. I never thought I would be lucky enough to have awesome rims on my car. Now this issue comes up and it is a little aggravating. It has been about 18 months of ownership. I called Rohana about the issue and they said it was the cleaner I was using. Apparently they recommend soap and water only. I don't remember them posting that in the box in which my rims came in? Also, I do not recall Adam's wheel cleaners to ever destroy a finish like what you would see in the picture I included. I even reached out to Adam's Polishes. I was fortunate to hear back from Adam himself. He assured me it was not the cleaning solution that is causing the rims to "peel" away in a sense. As it is Rohana's lack of finishing their own product. Now I am at a standstill. If it truly is an issue of Rohana, I would like them to own up to their issue. Your thoughts?

Maybe some kind of chemical on the roads? May not be the cleaner or lack of craftsmanship...could just be something the wheel was exposed to while driving? If youve been using the wheel cleaner the whole time its probably not that...and its hard for companies to take responsibility if its not a mechanical failure...cause there is no way to prove something wasnt done/or exposed to the wheel....

That's does not look like a chemical( cleaning product) issue, that's flaking, to me that looks like a bonding issue. Perhaps the wheel wasn't properly prepared before it was coated.

I wish there were a way of proving it. Best Wheel Deals (company who sold me the rims) have been trying to contact the people for me and help me out but I have not heard back from them in awhile. Rohana blames Adam's for it.

Do feel free to contact Rohana about it Meshamey. I would be interested to hear what they have to say.
If it truly is a bonding issue, I would like them to own up to it and contact me. Rohana reps told me there has never been any issue with these rims.

I have Rohanna's RC7's and I have no issues with the finish. The OP's issues is just poor paint work.

Just powdercoat them and be done with it. A lot of wheels come with sub par finishes. I wouldn't look for any warranty, it's a waste of time. That's just me though.

I could do that, but I would like for Rohana to admit their finish was mediocre

I was considering Rohana. Not anymore. They are not cheap and if they do not stand behind it they lost another customer.

I'm hoping to hear something from them. I don't believe they have a camaro5 account. Rims are not suppose to flake like this. I definitely do not recommend purchasing the RC-20's.

I don't know if you can purchase wheels or deal directly with Rohana. I think you have to go through a vendor. I'm sure if the vendor you bought them from brings this to their attention they might do something about it. I bought the RC7's and have no issues with the finish.
