Billet Grille question
Hey all,
Thinking about installing Chrome Billet Grille on the ss. I see 3 different versions of them. 1 - Replaces or bolts on over existing only. 2 - Covers turn signals 3 - Covers headlights as well (all the way left to right) I'm assuming 1 and 2 is no problem, but what about 3rd one? Since it goes over the headlight (hids) - will it destroy light output for night driving? Has anyone done this and is it a problem? Thanks Here is a 3rd one: Last edited by grizli; 11-08-2012 at 03:39 PM. Reason: Attached image for #3 |

I have it and I don't notice any diminished light output while driving at night. You can see everything through the grille quite easily.

No, that picture is #3 - the one I like the most but am concerned about light output.

As far as I know. I would assume there is nothing different whatsoever, really.

Nope, sorry. I haven't seen it on a VR. At least from what I can remember. I'm sure there are some out there, though. IMO the grille looks much better with both the bottom billet grille (to match) and a front splitter (for the "weaker" looking V6 front end). |
