Joe that is 3 more trips than me. Hate to admit it has been
25 years+ since I've even been to the track. I think we are
both at a disadvantage until we can get in some runs and
figure how to put some power to the ground.

We need to get a bunch of guys together and head down to Silver dollar when it reopens. Faster track than Commerce, better prep, and no 3 hour lines to race 1 time. I know a back road that'll get you to SDR in about 90 minutes from almost anywhere in the Metro area (aside from you folks way up north)

LOL. Who didja learn that back road from? Eh?

Agreed on Silver Dollar. 10x better track than Commerce. If you don't like sitting in the staging lanes for 4 hours to race twice, Silver dollar is the way to go. We usually get 15-20 runs in at Silver Dollar in one night.

Another option for West GA and NW GA is Steele, AL. And not a bad ride from Atlanta.

They have T&T on Sundays 12-5.

Small crowds, relaxed, no waiting in the staging lanes. Track prep is usually good enough.

I went there last weekend and ran a 13.2 @ 106.

I have to agree about both Reynolds (Silver dollar) and Steele. I had some of my quickest times at those tracks. I can remember running in November after midnight and having the best 60' times of the day. I forgot Steele was open already. Hmmmm.... might need to do a roadtrip tomorrow?

Bump - might be able to make it out for a little. A buddy of mine said that the track should be very well prepped. This day is mostly for the big boys, but they will let anyone race. I won't be racing since I'm to much of a pansy LOL
