I was on my way home from class today and ran across this gem. It caught my eye and I damn near broke my neck. Never seen one of these before.

"Only 81 Abruzzis will be built by Panoz, and each will commemorate a past 24 Hours of Le Mans event and its overall champion. The final car will be produced to commemorate the 2013 race."

They are pretty cool. We've got a Panoz GTS race car in class at my school. They are based right near Road Atlanta so I see them there often but i've only seen a handful of street cars. This one though, I didn't know it had been released yet. I had no idea what it was when I drove by. It wasn't until I got home and looked it up that I found out it had just been released in the last 2 months. It's cool to know that I've seen one up close knowing there are only going to be a total of 81 built. Production is set to stop in 2013 so there are probably only a handful of these in existence as of today.

Not the most attrative thing in the world IMO, but sure is interesting. I've never hear of the Abruzzi...

The first couple shots reminded me of a Bugatti Atlantic. The next two reminded me of why 8 year olds shouldn't design cars.
