My LS3 SS with CAM/ATAK/KOOKS -- Video

Well here it is... im debating an exhaust change not from the sound in person but mostly from the loudness of the exhaust... almost too raspy. Cam is Chucks tuning service stage 2 cam running through Kooks LT's with no cats, Borla atak and also a vararam intake. sorry for the crappy sounding video camera.

YEP, sounds AMAZING!

How about electric exhaust cutouts? So you could switch between the two...

Great job!

Thats why I am going with the S-type in a few weeks. I was afraid of the rasp.
Mine will have the High-flow cats on though so that should help with the overall sound.

Sounds awesome! I just need someone to fly down to the Cayman Islands and install a cam for me!

I get a rise in my Levi's when I hear a nice cammed car. It is raspy but I feel that is Borla's sound. Something with a deeper tone would sound even sicker than it already sounds.

I'm curious to how much of the rasp would go away with hi flow cats on?

there's a member on here, SinisterSS I believe who had the same cam and headers but with a flowmaster exhaust and it sounded much deeper and meaner I loved it but he said it was too loud for his neighborhood so he put in a magnaflow street. Now it sounds stock

BTW any hp and trq #"s for that cam? How much was the kit? I'm planning on doing my cam in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, jrrod.

How do you like the power curve of the cam? I know its pretty damn big. Also, I saw that you put your stock mufflers back on...Could you tell a difference in power between stock vs. borla? My cousin is running stock muffs on his and personally, I love the way it sounds.

BTW, this is Derek. I helped Josh with the cam swap.

it sounds ok... i still might get a different exhaust later. there still a little work to do on the tune but at WOT.. pulls real nice. cant tell any power difference from stock and borlas.
