Thumbs up Did a couple of interior mods today

Since I'm done with performance mods for the year and car is officially in storage I decided to do a couple of easy interior mods. Sorry for the large pics.

- First up was the shifter console plate which I somehow scratched over time. Anyway, I wrapped it in 4D carbon fiber wrap I picked up on ebay. It's the same wrapped I used on the STB and it's looks much nicer than the popular 3M wrap. It's also more durable and easier to install. I know this isn't for everyone, but I like it and feel it complements the black interior very nicely.

- Second was footwell lighting. The interior lighting on this car is pretty dim imo and I wanted something to help brighten it and match the aqua lights on the dash and door panels. Enter the sjm auto footwell lighting kit. Super easy to install and once again I feel it complements the interior nicely without looking gaudy. They're bright enough to help, but not too bright. I kept it simple and wired it to the dome light.

Pics

The bezel looks good. My only problem with it is it's the only part wrapped in your interior. Silver on your wheel maybe too??

Thanks. It's been on the STB since June and hasn't peeled off unlike the 3M stuff. Don't know the brand found it on ebay cheap and decided it try. I was pleasantly surprised how much nicer it is.

Right on. I see you run without the engine cover. I prefer that look as well.

How hard was the steering wheel to do?

Not hard at all, just takes time and patience. The silver part is actually 3 pieces; left, right and the center piece with the ZL1 logo (the little mesh screen also pops off). I didn't completely remove the left and right pieces. I lifted them enough for better access. I did the middle piece separately and then snapped it back in place.
