This is the same restrictor plate that came in my kit which is about a year old. It fits just inside the filter. Essentially it a giant washer.

So I think we determined it to be the idler pulley. Chris @ ECS is taking care of me. Here is the pulley we pulled off the tensioner. When we took it off, we lost about 6 of the balls out of the bearing and it just slipped out of the pulley on one side.

Good that its not the blower, ECS has great support. Alex over there has really helped me a lot when I was trying to diagnose my BAP.

Damn! You got lucky. I sent mine in with 6,000 mi on it and cost me $875 for a complete rebuild. They said it was my fault the bearings burnt up. Told me what caused the bearings to go was the unit was either over spun, low on oil, or too much oil. I only tracked my car twice at a road course and red lined four times during those two trips. I checked the oil at the track and it seemed fine, but now I will make sure the oil level is right and I will not run it past 53,000 rpm.

Great..$875.6000 miles is just about what I put on mine. Waiting to hear back from ECS on when mine is getting back from Paxton.

Still think it is the best blower kit on the market. All blowers have failed. Your just hearing about the bad luck cases. I've seen heartbeats fail, the jackshaft maggies fail, whipples, etc. I don't think the paxton/vortechs are any worse than the other brands as long as well maintained and run with in their operating range.

Don't get us wrong but when the setup is working it is bad ass all the way and sounds like a devil loose on the street!

I still have some belt slippage and saw that the belt is slipping off my crank pulley. everything is lined up perfectly. Does anyone know why it slips there when i push it hard? The crank pulley does wobble a bit but don't know how to fix the wobble.
