Thumbs up New pics of my CGM SS - lowered and with 22s

Some of you may have seen the how-to article I wrote recently on installing Pfadt lowering springs. The article showed the car with the factory wheels. Here is how it looks with the 22s on it.

Details:

iForged "Sprint" wheels, 3-piece construction
Matte black centers, chrome lips
22x9 fronts with 265/30-22 Pirelli PZero Nero tires
22x11 rears with 315/25-22 Pirelli PZero Nero tires
Pfadt lowering springs (1.00-1.25" drop)

Hope you like it.

Tony

MBRP catback. Another how-to article I wrote

Steering feels about the same, but less body roll with the springs installed.

Really, really nice Tony - and thanks for the article as I now have enough confidence to do the springs myself. Now that you have driven it - do the springs improve the handling enough that you don't see the need for the Pfadt swaybars? I have debated doing the whole sport package but I am on the fence.

Thanks
Ron

Ron,

I haven't taken any corners fast enough to know if I need swaybars yet. But, just from back to back comparing the feel with my CTS-V I'd say the Camaro still needs sways too. The OEM ones are tiny, look like little toys. Cadillac still handles better, and we can't have that!

I was debating 20" or 22" when my Camaro comes in. Those photos (similar wheels to what I want) convinced me of 22".

Ravirn, custom wheels take several weeks to build. You should order the wheels and have them arrive about the same time your car does. I can help with that
