The problem is that Oshawa has one paint shop, with a finite number of paint hoppers....and more cars are planned to be built at that plant in the future. Most of the colors they use need to be applicable across the board, and then each vehicle might get one or two model-specific colors...

I'm not trying to say a light blue will or will not happen...just something to think about.

Never cared much for IBM. It's okay, but it can easily be mistaken for black. They need a brighter blue. Jetstream would be perfect.

At first I was not that worried because we were told that Hydo Blue would step in to replace Aqua Blue. Now I'm hearing rumors that Hydro Blue will not replace Aqua Blue!!!

Chevy needs to offer a second Blue !!! I wish I could have bought it in the first year but I could not, and I wont buy it in 2011 if there is not a Bright to medium Blue available!!!!

Please Chevy reconsider Hydro Blue or find another Blue or I wont be buying a Camaro in 2011 !!! Ill either buy a used Aqua Blue or a used c6.

Does any one agree?
I am sure GM will be crushed.

I agree. The supposed synergy green that I heard is replacing ABM is too light in my opinion. If I would've known they were going to do this I would have also ordered mine in ABM long ago. For now guess I'll go with IBM with a twist.

Because I don't think it's fact. IBM has been out for years......it's kind of reached it's life-cycle. Keep in mind what goes on the Camaro mostly goes on the Impala too, same paint line.

Jetstream blue is an awesome color. I hope for the ABM fans that didn't get to order yet that it will be available for the Camaro.

They definitely need another shade of blue. At the very least get rid of IBM and replace it with the blue used for the "Dusk" camaro prototype. And While I'm at it. Make the interior trim in the "Dusk" available as well. I love the color in the new Mustang. I'd love something similar in the Camaro.

Have to agree - my current car is a royal blue. The new Mustang blue is great & Jetstream Blue would be perfect!

I'm holding out for the HUD display & hoping they'll get another blue by then....

This is one of the dilemnas of new cars....
1. You could wait and buy the second year car. this lets the manufacturer find and fix any kinks before you get yours.
2. Buy one the first year, be one of the first to own something that will be more of a collector (because it is the first of a well sought car). Get the original color choices. And enjoy the car from the begining, instead of drooling over other people's cars.

Seems waiting only made it worse for the people that wanted the Aqua blue....
