Found this tidbit online What’s going on with the P900.4 Backorder? As of 3-27-2012, the official word from Precision Power is the P900.4 is out of stock and they are waiting on the factory. The factory has not given Precision Power a date to expect the next batch of P900.4 amplifiers to be shipped |

So Steve, how you fixed for the Fark harness? I know you had to make some changes to the sub box for MY 2012, but has wiring changed any? I haven't researched that yet since my focus has been on "go fast" goodies and lighting.

For those that have installed the JL audio HD900/5, did you install an equalizer or sound processor between the factory BA headunit and the JL amp? Or do your run signal right from the FARK to the JL amp?

I haven't installed one yet. Mine sounds so good now and I've been so busy that I haven't had time. I'll be doing the MS8 one of these days.

Was looking at the cleansweep or MS8...just wondering if they are worth the extra $ above just replacing amp, speakers, sub.

Using your own head unit, you run the FARK right in and out of the Amp. No equalizer or sound processor. The extra output channel on that amp powers your sub. You will also have to run a heavy gauge wire and fuse for power to your amp from your battery and you need a good ground. Assuming this is the same FARK issued in early 2012 for the Vert. Steve (********) was very helpful with everything. I purchased that amp new on EBAY for around $500 and I have had no problems.

Big thanks to Steve and ******** for getting my order shipped quickly and for quick replies on emails!
Now if I would just learn to slow down and read what's in the kit instead of just glancing at the pics, lol. Still need the T-harness (5G-X3 RCA), which I'll be ordering as soon as they are back in stock. |
