XM Radio pricing

I'm kinda wanting to turn my XM radio back on.

I kept it for about a month after my free 3 months ran out...then when I called to cancel they offered me 5 months for $20. Great deal, so I did it.

When those ended in January, I cancelled and tried to get the 5for20 again. No go.

Has anyone had any luck with calling XM and haggling a good price out of them after having their service turned off for a while? I don't really want to buy more than 3 months in advance.

I've heard of guys getting pretty good deals on a year worth for the price of 6 months, ect.

I'd like to get a monthly rate for XM Everything for less than $10 a month...preferably $8.

Thank you all in advance.

Better to get the yearly deal which I have gotten twice because they screw up so often, I wouldn't want to deal with them more than once a year!

You should be able to get it for about 80.00/year. That is if you get the right person on the phone[pita].

Amen to that. Worst customer service bar none, too bad they have such a great product.

To the OP, when you call go directly to the cancellation dept. they are the only ones with the ability to do anything, trust me in this. The fact that you may already be expired doesn't matter. Good luck.

I let mine expire. After a month, the offers started getting better. I recently signed up for 12 months at $77.00.

Alright, Thanks guys! I'll get on that tomorrow! I'm surprised I haven't gotten emails from them asking me to renew/giving me specials. If they would have done that I probably would have had XM again by now.

I just got something that said SiriusXM wll be on for free May 24-Jun 6, and then available for the 5 months for $20 or whatever that deal is. They've been sending me that 5 month thing for a year or so now... so I don't think it's gonna get any better than that.

Every time I cancel I always start getting email to come back for like $5 a month. I sign up and after my time is up I cancel and wait for the emails again. Been doing this for years.
