What do you guys think about this ZL1 bodykit?
I don't know whether I like it or is it too much?? What do you guys think?
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=315964 I am not promoting this kit, nor am I promoting the vendor, nor am I affiliated with the vendor or product in any way. I simply wanted to share this look of the zl1 I found in the middle east section of the forums. Thanks, |

I think it looks awesome! I'm just not much of a show car guy. I like the subtle nuances of the ZL1.

Not liking the front end either. Honestly it looks like a stick on body kit. I like the rear valance the most.

I think it's fine if you're trying to do an extreme LT or SS makeover. For ZL1, it's a bit over-styled and too ricerific. Nothing about it says there is a ZL1 underneath.
Also, I believe there will be insufficient airflow through this front fascia to provide the designed engine and brake cooling effects of the OEM ZL1 fascia.

Another -1 on that front end. The side skirts are so-so, but as was said previously, it suffers from two things:
1) Overstyled. A lot. 2) The front of the car is purpose-designed. This feels akin to plugging up brake cooling ducts with 11tyK LED Fogzzz or some such nonsense. Function >>>>>>>> Form If they can prove it does a better job at the function than stock, that's different. |
