Hey Guys,
Looking for opinions. I know all you pre-ordered guys are gonna be keeping your Camaros squeaky clean and i was just curious what you guys recommend as far as Tire Shine and/or wheel shine and wax for that matter ???

Thoughts ? Comments ? Derogatory Remarks? lol

Well, I recently bought some stuff that is in gel form. Armor-All gel shine or something, I'll get back to you on it. It works GREAT. No overspray on the car or rims and last 3 times as long. Freind of ours owns a detail shop and he turned me on to it.

This will probably be moved to
Cosmetic Maintenance: Washing, Waxing, Detailing, Repairs But I'll get back with the name unless someone else has a better suggestion.

It may not be an AA product. I'll get the name when I get home and post here.

I used the Armor-All extreme shine for my car when I took the last pictures.
Look at my garage
<----
It looks great for a couple of days but the dirt sticks to it afterwards and makes it look even dirtier than before.

I wouldn't use it.

My wheels on the SS are chrome. For them, I use Zaino.

As for tire shine, I tried many different brands, but went back to Armor All. They offer different variances; shiney to matt.

I avoid any gels as every one I've tried slings.

I do wash the tires at every washing to remove the old protectant too.

I'm sold on Adam's products, their VRT works great on the tires - not too shiny, lasts a few weeks.

I swear by Adams Polish products. Their VRT is second to none for vinyl and rubber. Their IN/OUT spray is great for those hard to reach places. On top of the quality of their product, their stuff smells great.

Meguiars high gloss Hot Shine tire gel. That's the name. Haven't had problem with slinging. I love this stuff. Lasts longer and looks great. Moose, could be the type of tire as to why it doesn't sling on my wifes Lexus but does on yours if it's a taller meatier tire.
