USB Remembers Last Song Position?

Just curious, I had read a bunch of threads stating how annoying it was that the USB play on the stereo wouldn't remember "position" - meaning it started over on car off/restart. I just got my 2LT this week, and it has seemed to work fine (4GB flash drive). Just curious if a fix had gone in, I think my software is CE.

If I recall correctly, I think it remembers where it left off it you are currently playing an MP3 when you turn the car off. I think if you switch to radio/CD then turn the car off then it doesn't remember.

I can't say for sure since I stopped using a USB drive and switched to an iPod.

Congrat's

You have the latest version of the PDIM software (although the first version didn't forget where it was playing on restarts "most of the time"),

It remembers the last song/position however it does not remember the last playlist or random setting.

You don't "program songs into the car" but you can plug various USB devices into the USB port and it plays music from that. See the FAQ for more info.
