Sounds good. Cant wait for the sound this makes. Wonder if it will cause more drone from removing the dampener. This will help also she'd some of the 25lbs these things weigh lol.

I did a similar mod for my 2012 E92 M3, and it sounded awesome. AutoCoutore Motoring in Fair Lawn NJ will do the mod for me, they worked on all my cars. I will post pics and vids. The mod is cheap, and if it sounds great, could be a great way to go. Will letcha all know.

P.S. I will also be doing the secondary cat delete at the same time, just to free up a little restriction without needing to tune and such.

Exclamation 4/16/13 ACM Mod Date.

Hey, so the secondary cat delete and muffler mod are happening in the morning. I will have a video and pics if any up hopefully by tomorrow night if anyone is interested. I'm hoping to get an exhaust note as close to similar to the Borla or MRT 2.0 exhaust since they are free flowing systems too. We'll see soon!

Bump

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone has a bone stock V6 exhaust, only with all that packing removed from the mufflers. I like the way the stock exhaust sounds, I like quiet with a V6 but I'd like to know how it would sound without the packing. I can't imagine it'd be much louder, or has much more drone, if any. I figure it'd just have a slightly louder volume outside the car but still be silent inside the car.

A friend of mine has a '12 V6 auto and it has a good sound for stock, but not quite enough volume from the outside when he take off. My brother has a '12 Mustang V6 Performance Package, it has a beefier sound to it. I think the Camaro could be just as loud without that mass of packing. So if anyone has done this, I'd like to know what you think and a video would be awesome.
