Stall Converter advice
Anybody running a Yank SC series stall? I'm looking at 650rwhp on a whipple daily driver. I want a nice smooth converter so I am thinking a single like the Yank SC might be a better choice for a DD then something like a tripple disc circle d.

I have the SC3000 in my car.
Don't even know it's there. 608rwhp/672rwtq unlocked.

I ran the SS2800-3200 at 600hp for over 20k miles with no problems.

being your supercharged, i would look at circle d or fti converters with triple disc lockup clutches... this will allow the converter lockup at wot like how the factory has it.

We use a ton of Yank SC converters. They do drive like stock and handle being locked up in manual mode no problem.
Last Vette we did went from 10.9 to 10.3 in the 1/4 with just the Yank SC swap and minor tranny tuning for it. Next day he road raced it. |

Thats what im going to go with, thanks. I dont feel the need for a tripple disk in a DD.
