Wow glad she is ok, They should have an engine shutoff switch in the trunk right next to the escape latch.

Whew..glad I don't have a trunk. j/k
On a side note..not a bad idea to keep a gun in the trunk.

You know that's an EXCELLENT Idea... a remote kill or 'panic' onstar button in the trunk could save many lives.

Anyone sure she had Onstar? This is a six-banger. Isn't it an option except 2LT or 2SS?

That is horrible. Cannot imagine what was going through this woman's mind while he is driving around with her in the trunk. I'm still waiting for the day that someone tries to do this to the "wrong" person and gets a f'n ice pick in the eye. Stuff like this infuriates me.

A few things to say about this.
Number 1, thank god the person is alright. He could have decided to rape/kill her before taking the car. Number 2, this is why I have onstar's number on my speed dial on the cell phone and also on my house phone. Number 3, about having a gun in the trunk, not a bad idea. "Get in the trunk!!" "Well, ok, *sob* *cry*" he starts driving away, you grab Bertha out of the box, slide down the rear pass through, and worse comes to worse you get your car back, but have to reupholster a seat cause it is bloody and has a hole in the back of it. |

love. my. car.

wow, that's really really crazy. I'm glad the woman got out ok. I'm assuming the reason she didn't pull the trunk release was because she was so damn scared to do anything, or her head was not near the trunk release so she didn't see it. It's not like you can roll around and stretch out in that trunk.

My application was super easy, one of my references is a good friend of the family who happens to be a corrections officer for over 10 years. I think that helped to speed things along. |
