Maggie problems

I didn't want to post this until I gave Magnacharger a chance to make it right. I was in panic mode and didn't want the board to be in it too.

A few weeks ago I started my car and could hear a loud hollow knocking sound. I had heard this sound (although much, much quieter) when I first installed it but thought it was just the nature of the beast. It must have faded because I had not noticed it in a long time. Now it was LOUD. Using the ole rubber hose in the ear trick, I traced the sound to the rear of my TVS 2300. I called Magnacharger and they took one listen over the phone and told me to ship it back to them. It took me about an hour to remove it and I bubble wrapped the hell out of it before heading off to the UPS store. It arrived in Ventura California last Wednesday. By Friday, UPS had picked it up and delivered it to me yesterday (Thursday) morning. Two hours later I was burning the tires off the car. Turns out the rear bearing had gone bad. It was probably bad from the beginning since I had initially heard that sound. They replaced the bearing, the contaminated oil and the impellors. As much as it sucked having to go without my car and worry for 2 weeks, I'm very happy with the customer service I got and extremely happy with the 2 day turn around time.
Thanks Magnacharger, Jamie MacPherson

Unfortunately things in manufacturing do go wrong from time to time, it shows the character of the company in how they respond. Good to hear Magnuson is one of the good guys.

Glad to hear that you're mobile again, Jamie!

Also glad to hear the Magnuson stepped up and got you back on the road...makes the decision on my future supercharger easier.

Lol. That's exactly why I held off on posting. I've seen to many times on here of people jumping the gun. Had they not backed their product then there would be reason for concern. They did though so I got to share a success story. Hopefully it's a one time bearing supplier issue.

Thanks for sharing and having giving the vendor a chance to resolve first before posting. Seems most people domt remember that part. Great story and Magnuson FTW
