Rotofab

Just ordered a Rotofab CAI, Jannetty Scoop and a washer bottle relocation kit. Can't wait for it to get here. Doing my baseline 1/4 mile runs tonight and as I do the bolt ons, I'm going to see what happens with each. Wish me luck!

You probably will not see ALOT of improvement with just the rotofab cai alone but its a good start. You will notice the engine will rev much quicker.

Did you get a tune from Ted as well? That will make a bigger difference then just the CAI will.

I know the Rotofab won't make significant increases alone, but I have most of the mod equipment I had on my L99, headers, HF cats, SLP axleback, RX catchcan...had to let my Vmax throttlebody go since I didn't have a spare. The Vararam I had won't fit the 2012, thus the Rotofab. Did some research and many including some venders said the Rotofab was among the best if not the best. So, did the baseline runs at Memphis International Raceway last night....a whopping 13.4 @ 109 was my best run (pretty disappointing after running 12.4s in my L99), but you gotta start somewhere. Dang! The wheel hop in the 60 foot was awful...I guess I need to fix that before anything else....got any suggestions?

With that list of mods the Roto Fab should really free up the breathing of your engine.

Have fun, keep us posted.

Hold RPM steady at 3000 and slip clutch out while squeezing the throttle down to the floor. Be fluid and keep from spinning the tires and you'll get a 2.0 or under 60'.

Thanks Chevybear...I tried slipping the clutch and it gave me the best times of the night. I honestly didn't run and experiment all that I could have on it's first outing...It only had 1200 miles on it and I felt like I was abusing it at that. Tell me about your JRE 412HP tune...what does that entail?

Rotofab is a great company who makes a great product. Ever since we got their shipment for us to actually put these on our shelves, we can see that these are indeed a great quality product that we're really happy carrying.
