Roll Cage - Bolt In?

What cage is everyone running for SCCA?
Is there a bolt in or does it need to be weld in?

To me, bolt in just spells trouble. Although I'm sure people will disagree.

I'd want a welded one to better guarantee it wouldn't break and would hold together in-case of the worst possible situation.

But that's just me.

Autopower has weld in or bolt in. I went with a bolt in as bad things can happen to electronics when you weld on to the structure of modern cars.

Either way, at a minimum, get a 6 point.

Well I think that really depends on whether or not you're just doing HPDE type things or club racing.

To be fair bad things only happen when people leave everything connected and use terrible grounds.

Thats why I said "racing", an HPDE isn't racing.

It was to me for 4 years... but after 4 years of playing on the track I want to find something different. Im talked to SCCA at the last PDX (that sucked) and they recommended ITE class. My goal for 2018 is to get me license and learn more about the actual racing events.

Z Beast that is a great interior for the track. Did you have the interior panels custom made or are they available commercially?
I apologize to OP or thread jack.

Most don't go out of their way to make the distinctions and lump them together...which is why I said what I said :P

It looks like a 4 point. What class you can race in with a 4 point> I would love to run only a 4 point.
