How in the world did you guys get some of the trailing arm bolts off? I'm trying to get two bolts loose and they just won't budge at all

I used a 1/2" breaker bar. That worked for me.

if you don't have a long enough ratchet, find a deep socket that fits over the end of the ratchet handle, and put an extension on the socket, thus making the ratchet a lot longer for more leverage

caution, this can damage the ratchet if it is an 'economy tool'

Just don't buy it from Home Depot or Craftmans from Sears. Get the good stuff, will cost ya but will be well worth it.

Yea, I've done that before. Will be attempting that tomorrow. It was getting late today so I stopped. But will try that tomorrow and hopefully it'll work

you can also use the boxed side of a combination wrench to make your ratchet handle longer or a piece of 1 inch black pipe as a cheater

As long as you buy that Dewalt it does not matter where you buy it from. I guess I do not understand your comment.

I have that exact item, older model without the light, and use it ALL the time. I even take it to the track since it is so versatile and rugged. I have two batteries, a charger and a case so it makes taking it wherever I want super easy.

I am sure it can be done with hand tools man. Buy a breaker bar or put a pipe over the ratchet handle. Breaker bars are $10-20 at an auto part store

Mine came off with a normal 1/2" drive ratchet and wrench.
