but now it looks like 99% of the SS's out there.

You still have the black rear spoiler, red calipers, front splitter, 10 spokes wheels. Wrap or no wrap still a 1le.

Some folks are having a dilemna ... To remove or keep the wrap. I usually say wrap it up but in all honesty the Z/28 has destroyed all barriers. Non RS looks cool now because of the Z... The hood wrap is only understood by the true Camaro fans. After seeing dozens of Z/28 pictures I'm inclined to say get rid of the wrap because the hood is a masterpiece. To each their own but removing the wrap would only make more people scratch their heads on the road or at the track. Also, the owner will always know what they have ... no need to explain yourself or fit in the box because of a special package.

The year is 2045. Somebody just bought a used 2014 Camaro that had been sitting in a barn since 2028. He posts about it on Camaro8.com. Much debate ensues about whether it is a real 1LE since it does not have the black wrap. Also discussed is the placebo effect of the fuse pull.

I thought about doing this, but the wrapped hood has grown on me. I still think it looks good either way. Also, I think mine actually does work like it should. I can definitely see the hood while I am driving. Still sicking looking car man. I like it.

Removed the hood wrap on my 14' 1LE

To each their own, but I like the wrap. I am still confused on why so many of you have a hard time with cleaning it. I have 1500miles on my car and it has not seen a wash yet(Never will as it will not get driven in any rain). I use a duster on it and Meguiars Ultimate Spray Wax a couple times a week. As for the wrap all I do is soak a microfiber in some warm water and wring it out and then wipe the hood off. After I use Meguiars Ultimate Spray wax and it is deep black with NO streaks. Takes no time at all.
