Well, some time in 2011 or something we will hav the test performance numbers. I guess one of us may have to loan one of ours for someone to test. I so totaly don't get that nobody has got any official numbers.

They'll probably wait and test the Camaro on a 95 degree day this summer at an altitude of 3000 ft. (I've seen tests like that).

But seriously, next months influx of magazines "should" have some performance tests for the Camaro. They (the magazines) had plenty of testing numbers for the 370z before it arrived at the dealerships. So why isn't GM giving out test cars to the major mags?

hmmm. with all those camaros in the factory parking lot you think they could let some mags make a review of one at least.

I don't really see what the big deal is. The new Mustang looks to be as good or better on the skid pad as the Camaro. But thats about the only place it will be.

I don't see the words "camaro kiler" anywhere. In fact it says

Good to see the Stang beat out that competition, now we just need to wait and see how badly the Camaro takes out the GT hehe!

Yeah, it's not apparent in the article, but if you back out to Inside Line's main page, the headline listed for the article in the Flash applet says "Camaro Killer?"

Whats up with the Nissan 370Z? I have driven the 350 several times and never really loved it. Didn't think it was all that fast either. Is the 370 that much better? I think it looks nicer. The interior in the 350Z was like a bath tub of plastic so I hope they fixed that. I have a Nissan Titan and had a SpecV quite a long time ago, so I am familiar with the brand.

I don't see how the 420+ HP of the Camaro isn't going to kill the cat (or the horse), but I guess we will have to wait for "the press" to spell it out for us.

That track pack Mustang is pretty quick due to the optional gearing. I wonder how much worse gas mileage it gets because of it. I bet Ford doesn't say... The Camaro could probably beat a Z06 with the right gearing, but I wouldn't want the gas mileage that goes with it.

The Mustang's price was getting up there too considering how much less advanced the car is compared to the Camaro with its 6.2L 400hp+ V8, IRS, brembos on all corners.....

as was mentioned before, it handled pretty darn well for a solid rear axle car.
