I have learned over many many years of life to finally like what I have. I would love to have a new Corvette C7 Z06, then I would probably want a Maserati. Shortly thereafter it would be Porsche 911 Turbo, and on and on.
Anyway, I believe that it is human nature to always want to move up and up and up. True joy is appreciating what you have. Very few people in the world can get whatever they want, and sometimes I wonder if even they are happy. Sorry for the sermon.

Agreed, I don't remember asking about the V6 or V8 engine....That's been done to death and I am not bringing it back. Some people have to interject having a V8 or whatever to make themselves feel better.

That's one thing I love about the Camaro is that even the base models look great! I hate when I see older single exhaust v6 mustangs - they really do look like a downgraded model. If people want a better fuel economy model I don't think they should have to have the visual appearance look like crap as well.

I get lots of compliments from women in my LS. Picking the kids up for school, at the gas station, and sitting at a light. Truth is 80% of the population have no clue what the difference is between a lS, LT, SS, 1LE, ZL1, etc.... Only car guys do. Do regret my LS, no. I would upgrade if I didn't drive it every day for work(1500 miles a month). Plus my work doesn't reimburse for high performance vehicles. Buy what you want, if any body else has a problem tell them to go get bent.

Honestly I think they are fun cars just because it's a Camaro. I had one for one and a 1/2 years. But once I was able to work a very good deal to trade I got my 2014 2LT RS. For me it was worth the trade.
But no matter what it's still a Camaro and I had fun with it!

Really love my 1LS. I've put 5000 miles on it in the last two months. Enough power to be a fun DD. Even like the 18s for ride and not having to cringe every time I hit a pot hole or streetcar rail, like when I was running LPs on my Cobalt. No regrets at all ! I also lack maturity and would be too temped to run WOT more often, if my car had a V8.

Sometimes i wonder if i should have gotten the SS but then i remember the higher maintenance costs, higher gas price, and the fact that i would rarely race it. Not worth it.

ITT I learned that my 2LS could have RS headlights and MyLink.
Now somebody tell me how to have that done. |

I've got the 1LS but it looks just like a 1LT RS, except without leather. (I hate leather)
I only regret not having a V8 But at the same time... MPG and insurance and monthly costs on the car are so much lower than they would be with an SS. |
