Cool

Hey Mike...

I know a pretty good camshaft designer that can help...

Congrats on the new ride. I may get out there and sell the GTO as well as the wife's C5 to start building my own toy. I'm an old fart so I'm going in a different direction. Especially with Obammy talking about killing the factory muscle cars...

Looks like the gangs all here...VVT cam design at its finest...so what do you have up your sleeve for VVT AND a positive displacement blower???

I want to test everything in steps so that we learn the most we can each step of the way, first the OTR intake, then headers are already here just waiting to be installed on a couple of customers camaros already, then camshafts etc. But the main thing right now after the intake testing is complete, is tuning, I don't want to tune a customer's car with bugs still in the software.
After a ton of testing we finally have the concept down for the OTR intake design, now we have to rebuild one and retest MAF sensor placement.

Yeah,
anyone that can pull low 13s this time a year is doing good. Those low 13s can easily become high 12s in cool dry air this fall or during the winter down here in Florida.

We really won't see fast times (the times everyone wants to see) until at least this fall.

I am glad to hear not everyones automatic cars are as ridiculously slow as mine was. Dealer bought it back today. I am relieved but still disappointed.

Did you run the car again? I wish you would leave it stock and run it in some good air, but I know you're on the fast track to getting it modded and tuned.

But the air in the N.E. will be getting good for racing in a few months.

I ran 12.9 @ 108 mph in real bad air, the humidity was terrible and everyone's times were off.by a couple tenths so I am real happy.

Very nice
12.9 @ 108mph with just intake and tune is great, especially since its an
L99 A6. Its nice to see how well the A6's can run.

If it was early November you'd be running mid 12s.

So these runs were with no ECM tuning (to take advantage of the intake)?

Do you have a comparison of the DA of these runs vs the previous?
