That's why I do not believe its a ZL1 prototype at all but instead its probably a Z/28 or equivalent natural aspirated engined car with a cold air intake on the hood to aid in performance.

The black ZL1/1LE wheels have CAMARO labeled on them not ZL1 like the optional polished wheels. Why have these wheels labeled differently unless you plan on using them on another production Camaro model and not just the ZL1.

Has anyone seen the SEMA 1LE concept? It would make quite a Z/28...

Camaro 1le power to wieght ratio 9.06 It makes a great 1LE suspension package for the SS but not good enough for a Z28 imo. A 5th gen Z28 needs to be more hard core and it will flat out need more power. Last edited by truth411; 10-28-2011 at 10:15 PM. |

Oh Pete,
Is that the intake hood from the so called "track ZL1"? And what characters are on the grill emblem? |

Agree, needs to be hard core, road race ready!! I know GM would never do it but wouldn't it be great to have them come out with a stripped version like the 1st gens. Radio delete, heater and a/c delete, no sound deadn'g, etc... Maybe 1 year run limited to 302 camaros? I bet they could sell at well over ZL1 $$ and sell out the first week if not day they could order it. I know different market/price point but when Porsche, Ferrari, etc come out with these they sell out before they even produce them. |

Decoder ring at the ready, this from Autoguide:
One of the highlights for Chevrolet at SEMA will be the “Custom Camaro,” a full-size tribute to the original Hot Wheels 1:64 scale model line back in 1968. If I squint real hard, I'm a-thinkin' that-there badge sez 427...at least that's what my seeing-eye dawg whispered in my ear, just before she licked me... |
