Installed kicker 6x9s, holy crap that was more work than I really wanted it to be.

Also installed a Alpine 70 watt RMS x 4 amp.

Did not reconnected front center speaker.

Overall, huge improvement.

I do plan on replacing the door speakers also.

Got the door speakers. JL C2650X. Once I put them in I realized I should of gotten better 6x9s. The JL C2 6x9 tx's arrived a couple days ago....

So now this is the stereo set up.

OEM BA dash speaker is hooked up to my Passport 9500ci
Door speakers - JL C2650X's and stock tweeters.
Rear deck - JL C2 6x9tx's
Door and Deck speakers mounted with ********s MDF adapters.

In the trunk - Alpine MPR-f300 (iirc, could be off on the letters) for the doors and rear deck, JL 1000/1 V2 hooked up to a MTX 9500 12".

The only thing left for my stereo upgrading is to get a custom box for the 12 that looks better and takes up less space. Pretty sure I'll be building it myself in the next couple weeks. I'll post pics when I get it all finished.

Subscribed! Great job so far. What is your opinion that makes the JL 6x9's better than the Kickers? This is a mod I'm interested in doing.

Any progress pics on the engine bay? Will you include a component list of parts used for the coil relocation when done? Interested in this as well.

Your car looks Bad@ss as well.

Sorry, I overlooked your post.

The kickers do not respond as well as I had hoped on the low end. I have my sub set up to hit on anything under 80hz, the Kickers needed to produce in the 80-200hz range for that mid level bass. They failed. The JL's sound much nicer in this range.

I will put something together on the coil relocation. I'll be doing alot of work in the coming months.

New parts ordered, huge updates coming in the next few weeks.

PFADT coil overs and camber plates.

Also just waiting on a quote for a PFADT package that includes essentially an entire new suspension system. Sway bars, end links, toe and ties, bushings, subframe solid mounts, etc.

New tires, drilled / slotted rotors, and Hawk pads also in the garage awaiting time.

I'm aiming at changing anything that moves in regards to the suspension on this next update. Hopefully after I get the suspension finished I'll be able to make a decision on my next power upgrade. I've been torn on going big NA, blowing the stock bottom, or going with a blown forged ls3. Decisions decisions.

Somewhere I missed the CF hood, it was added last year. Painted black to match, the only way you can tell its there is to look close at the texture, the slightly higher cowl, or when its open (underside is not painted and its CF inner and outer).

Still have Ecut outs that I never installed and other parts I've probably forgotten about since I bought them. I really need to clean my garage out.

On went the QTP e-cut outs. I temporarily ran the switch into the console. Works great, damn this thing is loud dumping out of the header collector.

I cut and welded everything myself. It was my first time welding up such thin material. I used flux core stainless wire on the stainless collector to cut out flange. The weld doesn't look all that great, but it holds pressure. I ground off about 5" to a flush surface and did some penetrant testing on it. It came out good. All I needed was more time and patience and I could of cleaned it up better.

Now I need a control center for my e cut out switch, bass control knob, and color shift halo box.

Found these when I put the pfadts on. I bought some good rotors to put on assuming these were not brembos, I left the brembos on.

Also found this:

Just googled it, turns out its common.

And after lowering the car, it's not all good.
I'm going to try some 90 degree bungs for the o2 sensors first. If it fails I'll have to buy new catless pipe things.

Hey, I know this was a while ago you posted this but I was going throught your journal and saw this. To embed a youtube video (in case you haven't figured it out yet ) Simply take the name of the video and wrap them like this:
[u2b]abc12345.xxx[u2b]<---put a backslash in front of the "u" in this bracket.

Looking good with the drop Are your wheels still 20's? Just wondering because they had to clear the weights that were on the calipers that you found. Any change in ride quality since the drop?

I figured youtube out. Thanks.

Still on 20's, but I only drove it a few miles. Then had to store it for a trip to Canada. I put pfadt coilovers on it, so the feel is great. Depending on the definition of ride quality, I'd say it is improved. Stiffer, better reaction, no float, etc.
