Who are you saving your Camaro for ? Rav4- Give me a break !.
I took my SS to Ft Lauderdale via Valdosta- 3400 fantastic miles. It wouldn't have been the same trip driving anything else.

I have to agree, dont save your Camaro for someone else to enjoy. Though if you can afford it get a clear bra on before traveling up there. Lots sand left over from the winter.

Thats pink pig...She needed a break after so many miles in the car... She can be terribly grumpy if I don't let her out once in a while... Thats actually a sand dune at the white Sands National Monument outside of Las Cruces... There is a beagle puppy in one of the first pics that belonged to another guy... We were stopped waiting on road construction going up to Yellowstone...

Why would you torture yourself by buying such a fun car to drive and then leave it home. Its a car, and its meant to be driven! If you dont drive it, youre not getting your moneys worth!

I drove from Ohio to Calif. to Washington and back last summer. 11.500 miles. I took a camper van.
Some of the roads in the national parks and campgrounds are not in great shape. The Camaro may not clear some easily. Most will be fine. But, if you want to get off the main drag at all, the Rav4 would be the better car. On the other hand, the Camaro would be a blast on some of the switchbacks! Either car will be wonderful. They are the National Parks! |
